About the Job :
Idaho's premier suspension shop is looking for an experienced Alignment and Suspension Technician. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.
- Component replacement.
- Removes and repairs front drive-line components (e.g., front axles, C.V).
- Provides basic servicing and maintenance on suspensions.
- Differential Rebuilding.
- Shock rebuilding.
- Able to perform alignments.
- Keeps records on all services performed.
- Maintains shop area and equipment.
- Has basic understanding of wiring, pneumatics and hydraulics for maintaining safe operations of shop lifts, air tools, jacks, pumps, and electrical tools.
- Exercises good judgment in maintenance and repairs.
- Fills out time sheets and daily work sheets.
Qualifications for suspension technician :
- 2 or more years experience in automotive repair work.
- ASEs preferred but not required.
- Must have own tools (maintained in good repair and proper working order) and be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools and equipment.
